There’s nothing quite like community coming together—and this year’s Ice Cream with Elsa and Spidey event during Wellesley’s Wonderful Weekend was one for the books! Hosted at my office, Gibson Sotheby’s International Realty on Central Street, the celebration brought joy, sunshine, and sweet treats to families from all over town.
A Beloved Wellesley Tradition
Wellesley’s Wonderful Weekend is a highlight on the town calendar, featuring a lineup of festive events that honor our community and kick off summer in the best way possible. From classic car shows to the big Sunday parade, there's something for everyone—and this year, I was proud to add a little extra magic to the mix.
An Enchanting Afternoon on Central Street
The turnout was incredible—so much so that we had to make an emergency run to Roche Brothers to keep the ice cream flowing! Families lined up for sundaes from Truly’s, balloons, photo ops, and a chance to meet two very special guests: Elsa and Spiderman.
Elsa dazzled the crowd with a story time that had every little one leaning in and listening wide-eyed. Spidey swung in for high-fives and superhero poses. It was heartwarming to see the smiles on the kids' faces as they met their favorite characters and enjoyed a sunny afternoon of fun and community.
A Gift Basket Fit for a Queen
One lucky guest walked away with a luxe giveaway—a stunning gift basket that included dinner at Dryft, a spa day at Bella Santé, and a floral arrangement from Winston’s. It was the perfect way to celebrate the day and highlight some of my favorite local businesses.
